This bride and groom chose to have photos at the Glenelg beach on their way to their wedding reception at the Glenelg Golf Club.
It was such a great choice because it gave their portfolio diversity of golf course and beach.
The large bridal party was driven around in a large limo. Careful planning had to take place so they could park near the beach without restrictions of other cars and a lot of people. We had documentary photos of the bridal party walking to the beach from the limo. I always like to get pictures that tell the story of the day.
The tide was in on the Glenelg beach by the time the bridal party reached its shores, so we had some fabulous photos on the rocks. This photo captured the bride and groom as they were coming up the rocks to get in the car to take them to their wedding reception. I love this moment and think it shows off the brides unique crocheted wedding dress and pretty Australian native bridal bouquet.
You may be interested to learn about this boho wedding gown. It's all handmade. A lady from Western Australia crocheted it. It was the perfect gown for this relaxed, easy going bride on her winter wedding day.
The only catch was that she had to be sewn into her gown on the wedding day by one of her bridesmaids who's a dab hand at dressmaking! It did a bit of time but it also provided some story telling photos with that lovely window light highlighting the action!
