It doesn't matter if it's winter or the summer, wedding photos on the shores of one of Adelaide beaches is still an option!
The tide was already in after the church ceremony for this winter wedding. Thankfully Glenelg beach has such a high wall of rocks along the Esplanade for the large bridal party to stand. Even though one of the bridesmaids was wearing a moon boot, the bridal party managed to have a celebratory photo or two on the rocks overlooking the beach. Where there is a way, there is a will and everyone managed to get up from the rocks, with a little help from their friends!
The wedding reception was at the beautifully kept Glenelg Golf Club with its manicured greens and excellent customer service. It was an overcast day, and as twilight hit, some romantic moments were able to be captured overlooking the rolling lawns. It's great to have some time to yourselves as a couple on your wedding day. Going in golf buggies to secluded spots on the course helped this couple relax and thoroughly enjoy the newly married feels!
If you get married at the Glenelg Golf Course, be sure to add a few minutes to your formal wedding photography time to do beach photos. It adds another element to your portfolio and that fresh sea breeze adds an extra spark to the vibe of your wedding day!
