{Andrew + Nicole}

Andrew and Nicole chose Mount Lofty House in the Adelaide Hills for their wedding celebrations venue.

Mount Lofty House’s customer service is outstanding, and the view over the Adelaide Hills picturesque. The whole ambience of the place is fabulous!

The wedding guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawns or in the bar, and the reception overlooked the Mount Lofty Ranges.

As the sun began to set, the glow streamed through the wall to wall windows, and we snatched 10 minutes away from the buzz. Andrew and Nicole enjoyed some time to themselves, and we took some magical photos amongst the vines. They danced the night away and then stayed in the Mount Lofty House accommodation.

Where the romantic story all began

Andrew and Nicole first met in August 2015. Nicole, intending to get fit, walked into an Adelaide CrossFit Gym for the first time and was greeted by the owner, Andrew. He happened to be the instructor for her introduction session into the world of CrossFit.

She describes him as “tall and muscly and covered in tattoos, just the kind of look I was trying to stay away from!”
After a few months of getting to know each other, Nicole realised he was nothing like the type of person she had categorised him as. Nicole said yes to a first date and before they knew it, they were officially together! It was only a year later, Andrew proposed!

Nicole said,  ‘It felt like he came over one day and never left. It was as if we had known each other forever and it had always been just us!’

And now, two years later, they are married and have started the perfect beginning to their lives together!

Thoughts from the bride and groom about their Mount Lofty House Wedding:

“Our wedding day was everything we could have asked for. It was fun and exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. Everything went to plan and we didn’t want it to end! After the ceremony, we were in the car on the way to Mount Lofty House and it was the first time we had been on our own that day. It was such a special moment to just soak up the excitement of the day together and the fact that we had just being married. It all felt so surreal! Mount Lofty House was amazing, from the scenery for photos to the wedding set up and hospitality; We couldn’t fault their service and professionalism. Our reception entrance with the Lebanese drums straight into some dancing was a bit different to the norm, but a way we could involve our guests right from the start and also include a little family culture. We just had the best day celebrating with all our closest family and friends, one we will remember for the rest of our lives.”
