As a Fleurieu wedding photographer, I enjoy the availability of open fields, forest settings, natural surrounds and fresh vibes.
The diversity means I can choose places close to wedding venues, for couples that catch the light but also give them the freedom to be themselves and bask in each other love. Couples need to enjoy the photo experience, not feel like the paparazzi has come to town.
This bride and groom postponed their wedding celebrations due to the government restrictions put into place because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They were married in the backyard in an elopement styled ceremony. Later they had some photos to document their love. We were able to choose a time when the sun was warm and golden. As they walked around the Fleurieu Peninsula farm, I was able to capture their love on a bridge, in the field, by the rose garden and sitting for a chat. It was very relaxed.
When deciding on your timeline for your wedding day, make sure you allow enough time to be able to step away from the crowd to get some photos that tell YOUR story. You can only really do this if you feel at ease. Choosing an easy-going wedding photographer will help achieve this too. Choosing a photographer that gives you a lot of diversity in your photo gallery is also important. This means you need to choose an experience photographer who can work magic so the same scene is photographed in different ways.
