Dale and Jess were married at Dale's parents property overlooking Second Valley in the Fleurieu Peninsula with it's rolling hills, peaceful, relaxed environment and space for as far as you can see!
SO much work was put into making this wedding day a day to be remembered. Hundreds of rocks were removed and an area flattened so the wedding ceremony could have the backdrop of Second Valley. A large farm shed was well decorated with lights and flowers for the reception. All those guests who wanted to could stay overnight on the property amongst the gums in tents so numerous tents were erected on this Fleurieu Peninsula property, including a bit of a glamping tent for the newly weds complete with a double bed, cushions, a little table for two, candles and snacks! This was a surprise for the bride and groom.
I had taken Dale and Jess' engagement photos some time before at Myponga Beach. Engagement shoots are a great time to get to know a photographer and the photographer get to know the couple.
Dale and Jess had bridal party photos on the crest of these hills while the guests enjoyed some canapés. We took some time for the bride and groom to wander in the open fields, take in the sun and the gentle breeze, catch up on how their pre-wedding morning went and capture some natural, timeless moments to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
Location: Second Valley, South Australia.
