Wedding Receptions in Adelaide

How to have a great Adelaide wedding reception

Ideally, you want your wedding reception to be a happy, enjoyable night, filled with laughter and good times, and all your guests love it, whether young or older.

Nicole and Andrew spent a lot of time working out how their Mount Lofty House wedding reception in the Adelaide Hills could be enjoyable for all. They wanted everyone to feel included.

As they entered their reception, some dapper Lebanese drummers did their thing - one by one, every guest joined the dance floor and surrounded the bride and groom, cheering them on, lifting them above the crowd and celebrating their wedding milestone to the constant beat of the drums! This celebration got the wedding reception off to a top start!

This lovely couple also had a photo booth which went down well for young and old, with lots of dress ups and fun props.

A candy bar in tones of cream and white adorned a corner of the reception room and looked amazing. In addition, they provided personalised lolly buckets so guests could take a box home with them.

Nicole and Andrew, the best man and parents kept their speeches short, punchy and relevant. There was a lot of clapping and laughter, especially as the best man teased Andrew for the hardship of paying his Mum $30 board a week while all his mates were paying off their large home loans and children's college fees!

As there is a largish dance floor at Mount Lofty House, guests enjoyed dancing the night away, and many stayed the night in the lovely accommodation provided by Mount Lofty House.
