Zak and Mel had a March wedding on the lawns of Littlewood Agapanthus Farm north of Littlehampton in the heart of the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
Their story began when Zak moved from England to South Australia. Mel had come from South Africa 5 years before so they both sported lovely accents and became firm friends at school! It wasn't until they started a nursing degree together that they really paired up and become inseparable!
Their heartfelt and moving vows were said on the lawns near the pavilion, the group photo and family photos were taken under the huge majestic gum and then we were really spoilt for choice to where to go for bridal portraits with the fields, rustic trees, agapanthus galore and a green lake!
The bride chose flowers by 'She Runs Wild' with her favourite dahlias being a feature. She had a lovely flower crown that matched the bouquet and went well with her Adelaide Bridal Emporium dress.
A memorable reception was held with authentic wood oven pizzas and Krispy Kreme donuts for their 'wedding cake' and a lot of goodwill and celebration! It was a hot day but there was an abundance of drinks supplied by the venue and the Adelaide Hills always sports balmy Autumn evenings which we thoroughly enjoyed!
