Sunnybrae Estate is a rustic, beautiful, well-kept venue to have your wedding ceremony and reception and being just 12 minutes from the CBD it's convenient for most!
Being established way back in the 1800's it has lovely historical value too with some of the buildings, including their cellar, giving that romantic old-world vibe.
This couple had their wedding ceremony at Enfield and their reception at Marche Club Incorporated Function Centre in Paradise. They needed to find a venue for photos that meant there wasn't too much unnecessary travel. After quite a lot of searching, they settled on Sunnybrae Estate in Regency Park. Perfect! It is such a beautiful venue! There was plenty of parking, so no time wasted there either.
The wedding coordinator at Sunnybrae Estate is very friendly and accommodating. She allowed us to take the garden chair from The Garden Terrace and put it on the lawns so we could get this photo. The lovely bride was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis not long before the wedding day. Having a seat for the bride to rest in during some of the photo session helped keep up her energy levels. She was so gracious and beautiful to photograph, and her lovely groom was thoughtful and kind.
I love the challenge of taking photos of large bridal parties! It's essential to make everyone feel comfortable, not to block any faces and make sure everyone looks great. I don't like over posing, so we keep the atmosphere light-hearted. This bridal party were up for anything! We had this more sedate photo of them chatting and then straight after they all went a little crazy which made for a great photo too!
Sunnybrae Estate caters for up to 400 guests and being experienced hosts, they have everything down pat and organised and excellent attention to details! They make sure their brides are looked after and help with the coordination of the day, so it flows without a hitch!
