Photographing weddings at Glenelg Golf Club is fun! The venues wedding coordinator is great at showing the areas couples can go in golf buggies for beautiful, relaxed, private moments, without getting hit by spinning balls! Buggies are available for the photographer/s and the couple if you choose to go further than the paths and designated ceremony area.
I always suggest couples who have Glenelg Golf Club weddings leave enough time after their ceremony to have photos on the Glenelg beach. It's only about 3 minutes down the road and is worth the effort. Alternatively, you could choose to have a first look and meet at the beach for photos before your wedding ceremony or slip out during your reception for a few twilight photos!
Glenelg Golf Club has a lot of diversity within its course. There are rows of trees so you can get the forest look. There are places with upkept grass and you can have photos, so it appears you are in a field! Paved and dirt paths run throughout the course. There are lots of choices! With this in mind, as a wedding photographer, I choose several places to have the official photos, so there is diversity in the photography portfolio.
Glenelg Golf Club sports a lovely shaded area for your wedding ceremony. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea on the lawns and then move to the clubrooms for cocktail hour. A large reception room is available. The service at Glenelg Golf Club is efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The food is of a high standard, and the attention to detail is excellent.
