This beautiful family were expecting another addition to their tribe.
It was winter and Dad and Mum wanted to get some family photos before the new arrival. It was a cold winter's morning as we made our way to a Balhannah field in the Adelaide Hills. We were able to capture some timeless, classic moments in the beautiful light that only the golden hours affords!
I love how this family coordinated their clothes with the neutral tones highlighted with a cornflower blue palette which made these photos extra special.
The littlest chap brought his treasured teddy to the photo shoot. Having unique elements of a family contributes to the happy memories of the raw and real family life. Bringing children's treasures to a family shoot can help the children feel comfortable and it can give them a sense of security and familiarity which is important. The more children and parents relax for family photos, the better the photos. As a photographer, I capture the moments, and getting those raw moments means setting a happy, easy going atmosphere.
