Engagement photos are a great way to capture your love in an easy-going everyday relaxed environment. There aren't the usual time pressures that a wedding day brings with cars waiting, ceremonies needing to start, hungry guests! You can choose the day you want and the golden hour either in the morning or the evening and then change the date if the weather's not great! You don't have to worry if your dress gets wet or muddy; you can wear casual clothes and have the freedom to create whatever you want! It's almost just the two of you with a photographer on the outskirts documenting your love!
At Verity Edgecombe Photography, I choose venues for engagement photos that reflect whatever represents you. You might select a session at the beach, orchard, forest, open fields, urban environment, park or even a cafe. With time permitting, you can mix some of these if you want.
It's good to have engagement photos in a different season to your nuptials. If you choose Autumn, we can get the changing colours of the leaves. If you decide Spring, we can get the blossoms and fruit that burst out. Winter brings its own beauty and cosy photos. Summer engagement photos on the beach or in an open field are a lot of fun.
