This couple married on the lawns of Stangate House in Aldgate. This gorgeous Adelaide Hills venue has vast gardens of camellias and azaleas in winter and spring and hydrangeas and bulbs in abundance during summer. Their show of autumn trees is magnificent too, so it's pretty much an all-rounder! Just make sure you have a marquee available if it looks like it's going to rain! This couple had some great pics at Stangate, and then we drove around the corner to a reserve overlooking Aldgate. It's so stunning and a great time for you as a couple to relax, spend a few moments together as newlyweds and get such awesome photos!
I like the mood of this photo as they relax as a couple and enjoy the moment.
It's important to me to give couples time and space to relax in front of the camera. They can look back on the photos and remember their genuine feelings, not some fake mood the photographer has composed! I like my couples to let me know what they do or don't like before the day, so we are on the same page.
The florals were by Events Gourmet and Florals, a delightful Adelaide business run by Rose with her dedicated husband, Michael. You really couldn't find a more capable, efficient, honest person in Rose to help organise couples grazing tables and florals on their wedding day.
