Mt Lofty House Wedding Photographers

Mt Lofty House is a majestic residence built by pastoralist and lawyer Arthur Hardy back in the 1850's. At first it was used as his summer house but he must have seen have truly lovely it was and took up full time residency in the 60's. Little did Arthur know, when he built it, that it would become one of the Adelaide Hills finest wedding venues!

The view

Just 20 minutes from the CBD, Mt Lofty House is situated on the highest peak of the Mt Lofty Rangers so the views extend right around the property and are easily accessible. Stunning panoramas across the Piccadilly Valley and the city make for some beautiful wedding portraits and a lovely view for guests. Mt Lofty House are very generous about where photos can be taken around the whole premises - the shaded tree areas, the vines, the courtyards, the driveways, the edge of the valley and within the House itself. Staff will direct you to large rooms in the House with floor to ceiling windows that make for some lovely bride and groom portraits, the cellar and the stairs leading to the cellar, the bar area for some fun journalistic photos and the arched porch to mention just a few spots.

The staff

The staff at Mt Lofty House are friendly and very accommodating. They make it clear they want their couples to have the best day of your lives. Guests are well looked after and there is an excellent attention to detail.
